Not only does it look like A$$, but is this really a required 'safety' addition to our motorcycles? Maybe they questioned the value of full-face helmets and reinforced palms in motorcycle gloves at their advent, but this strikes us as just silly, or maybe its the fact that its a fleshy colored bag that looks an awful lot like a tooshy. I just keep imagining some poor bloke riding along and hiting a serious pothole and getting ejected off the back of the bike by an accidentially deployed air-bag or Iron-butt riders finding ways to deploy them so they have something to lean on and rest their arms during those long stretches of open road. But when you consider all the growing pains automotive air-bags went through, wouldn't it be better to have invested all that money in air-bag development in better training programs? But then again, what do we know?
