Honestly, aren't road safety measures supposed to, you know, increase safety? I remember cycling down a hill once and almost wiping out on a guardrail very similar to those described. It really makes you slope unblocked think about the priorities of road design. It's like, are we saving money or lives? Why are simple solutions ignored? Maybe politicians should be forced to ride motorcycles next to these things. It seems like a total oversight to not address such an obvious hazard. People are dying.
